GCSE Courses

1 or 2 Year Programmes
Most students who join us to study GCSEs do so at the age of 14/15 to start a two year GCSE programme, or at the age of 15/16 to take an intensive one year GCSE programme. It is possible in certain circumstances for students to take an 18 month GCSE programme starting in January.

College Hours
All GCSE programmes are highly structured and students are expected to attend the college from 9.00am to 3.45pm every day with classes timetabled in 40 minute sessions. Study sessions are also timetabled and students are able to complete their homework during these sessions.

Streaming
Students are streamed according to ability and the Head of GCSE monitors attendance and assignment completion, and keeps track of performance. He is also at hand to deal with any problems students may have.
