Unit 1

50% of A Level

  • 3 hour exam
  • 120 marks available

Financial Accounting

Section A
- 10 multiple choice questions and several short answer questions (30 marks)

Section B
- two structured questions each worth 20 marks (40 marks)

Section C
- two extended answer questions each worth 25 marks (50 marks)

Unit 2

Structure of the Course

This course will be taught for 6x 1hour lessons per week. Homework will be set each lesson as it is a subject learned through practical application and it is essential for effective learning that students put knowledge into practice immediately. This is vital also as learning accounting is an incremental process and one lesson very much builds on the previous so speedy uptake of the subject material is beneficial for syllabus progression.
